[Class 100 (iv)] The reverse side of carbon paper is provided, before the application of the transfer coating, with a flexible coating comprising chlorinated rubber, with or without chlorinated naphthalene and plasticizers such as chlorinated waxes. According to an example, a composition consisting of low-viscosity chlorinated rubber, tricresyl phosphate, toluene, and colouring matter such as red lake is employed ; rosin and chlorinated paraffin wax may be added. U.S.A. Specification 2,072,943 is referred to.
