[Class 99 (i) [Also in Group XXV] A clamp for rods or tubes comprises two semi-cylindrical parts A, B formed with overlapping lips A<SP>1</SP>, B<SP>1</SP> along one or each pair of adjacent edges, the lips being drilled and tapped for a screw C which secures them together and bites into the tube F. The part B may be formed with a socket E in which a tube G is secured by a set-screw. The parts may be hinged together at D. Specifications 431,960, [Group X], 462,769 and 468,346, [Group XXV], are referred to.
