[Class 99 (i)] [Also in Group X] Round bars in built-up lattice structures are joined to the connecting sockets by means of pins or screws, which pass through the sockets and penetrate tangentially the surfaces of the bars. The rods 1 are secured, end to end, in sockets 6 by means of pins 8 which pass through the sockets and across recesses 7 in the ends of the rods. The pins may be tapered and may be provided with grooves 9, and several pins may be disposed, one behind the other, for each rod. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also forms of sockets for joining rods at right and other angles. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
