Abstract

522,497. Lawn-mowers. FISHER, S. G., and SUFFOLK IRON FOUNDRY (1920), Ltd. Dec. 13, 1938, No. 36369. [Class 6 (ii)] The fixed or ledger blade 14 of a lawn-mower or edge cutter having a rotary cutter 11 is adjusted at each end of the sole plate 15 by means of a bush 2;1 mounted on a bolt 18 projecting at right angles from the frame 10.' The hole through the bush 21 is eccentric relatively to the reduced part 20 which fits into a horizontally elongated opening 19 in the plate 15. If the openings 19 are not elongated, simultaneous adjustment of the plate 15 must be made at both ends.
