Abstract
520,150. Safety razors. JUDGE, T.O. Oct. 12, 1938, No. 29549. [Class 30] Thin flexible safety-razor blades 3 have median end formations co - operating with corresponding bladepositioning means on the holder which is of the transverse flexing and clamping type. The blades are double-edged and have at each end a median semicircular recess or notch 7 engaged by pins or projections 9 which are formed on the clamp 2 and pass wholly into the guard 1. According to the Provisional Specification, the blades may have gaps, holes, slots or the like to engage protuberances on the holder, and the openings may be rectangular, triangular, semielliptical or polygonal. The invention is also applicable to single-edged blades and to holders with a hinged blade-backing member. The openings may be formed wholly or partly in extensions at the ends of the blades.
