Abstract

518,895. Fuel supply to sleeve-valve engines. BAYERISCHE MOTORENWERKE AKT.-GES., and HELMBOLD, T. Sept. 7, 1938, No. 26181. [Class 7 (iii)] Liquid fuel is injected into the suction passage 3 of a sleeve-valve engine through a nozzle 5, the charge entering the cylinder being directed by a curved baffle plate 4. More than one fuel nozzle may be used.
