[Class 44] A revolving cylinder lock has at least one additional broaching 136 angularly displaced from the plane of the normal broachings. The correspondingly offset projection 43, Fig. 8, of the key may be bounded by deep grooves 44, 45. A lateral ridge on the key may be used in place of a single projection. Offset projections 47, 48, Fig. 12, may occur on both sides of the normal plane.
