[Class 69 (iii)] [Also in Group XVII] A tank cleaning apparatus comprises a body 1, through which steam or liquid or both may be passed, carrying at its lower end nozzles 20 rotated about an axis transverse to the axis of the body by vanes 21 mounted within the nozzles. Rotation about the axis of the body may be effected by a hand wheel 11 as shown or by vanes similar to the vanes 21. Double nozzles may be employed and may be offset to assist the action of the vanes 21.
