508,349. Lamp-holders; lamp mountings; guards. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 14, 1938, No. 29829. Convention date, Oct. 16, 1937. [Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XI] For mounting a lamp-holder in an opening in a panel such as the wall 12 of a refrigerator, a resilient support 11 is fitted in the opening by means of a groove 13 in its periphery and the holder 14 is secured in the support by means of a flange 15 on the holder engaging one side of the support and a guard 18 forming a clip that embraces the lamp-holder and engages the other side of the support. The opening in the wall 12 has two flat sides to prevent rotation of the support 11, and the opening 11a in the support has similar flat sides against which fit flats 17 on the holder. The clip 18 engages these flats which leave a shoulder 17a on the circular part of the holder. A slide 20 locks the guard to the holder.
