[Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group II] The liquid carbon dioxide 75 is treated for the removal of absorbed gas in a container 87, compressed by a pump 89, and then solidified in the container 81 by the evaporation of cooled ammonia removed from the liquefying device by the pipe 90 and evaporated in a countercurrent of pre-cooled air from a pipe 91, said air passing thereto by pipes 76, 74, and 61a.
