[Class 43] [Also in Group XXV] A necktie-retaining device concealed from view in use comprises a single length of wire &c. bent to provide a head portion a, to be inserted into the knot b of a positioned tie, and a spring clip portion a<2>, a<3>, a<4>, a<5>, a<6> arranged so that the arms a<4>, a<5> may be sprung through the arms a<2>, a<3> to grip and lock the rear end bl of the tie. The spring clip may also engage the adjacent portion of the wearing-apparel. The portion a<7>may be shaped to make the knot stand out in desired manner.
