495,382. Stays for pivoted mirrors. TIMINGS, L. S. A. May 11, 1937, No. 13342. [Class 65 (i)] The attachment plate for the stay 8, 9 of a pivoted mirror comprises a base 12 fixed to the mirror, and a detachable part 15 pivoted to the arm 8 and held in a recess 14 in the base by turnbuttons 17. The part 15 may carry stops 21 for the turnbuttons, and its surface may be slightly inclined so that the turnbuttons exert a wedging action on it. In another form, the part 15 consists of a pair of angle irons pivoted to the arm 8 and each having one limb in the recess in the base.
