494,547. Cans &c. ROBINSON, G. A. Dec. 18, 1937, No. 35117. [Class 66] To protect the neck-piece 3 and to facilitate stacking, the taper tops 2 of cans &c. are provided with outwardly and upwardly extending wings or fins 4 preferably extending above the level of the neck-piece, which wings may be afforded by flattening integral folds produced during the formation of the taper top, the open upper edges of the folds being closed and sealed by soldering or welding.
