493,986. Gilled tubes for heatexchangers. MATHER & PLATT, Ltd., and WHITELOCK, J. H. Dec. 7, 1937, No. 33802. [Class 64 (iii)] Heat-exchange tubes, e.g. for the radiators of unit air heaters, are provided with fins having interfitting stepped flanges, the part c of each fin being forced on to the part b of an adjacent fin so as to press the latter part into contact with the tube. In a modification, fins having flanges with three steps are applied to the tubes.
