Abstract
485,052. Light-projection apparatus. TODOROWSKY, V. May 11, 1937, No. 13438. Convention date, May 11, 1936. [Class 75 (iv)] In light-projection apparatus in which two concave mirrors 12, 19, one of which is larger than the other, are directed towards one another so that the small mirror 19 reflects light from a light source 21 located between the mirrors on to the large mirror 12 from which it is reflected to the exterior of the apparatus, the large mirror having two foci 16, 18 and being so positioned that one focus 18 and the light source 21 are both located at the centre of the small mirror, the large mirror is covered by a screen 14 formed with an opening 17, which is covered by the small mirror to conceal the light source from view, and with a second opening 15 with the second focus 16 at its centre, for the egress of light. An optical system may be located at the opening in the screen.
