Abstract
480,290. Cartons for cigarettes. NEALE, V. C. March 12, 1937, No. 7349. [Class 18] In a cigarette carton of the drawer-and-shell type, a strip 4 of matches stapled, glued, &c. to one face of the shell can be covered by an apron 5 hinged to the shell at the top end and adapted to be tucked in between the shell and the drawer at the bottom end. The tuck-in flap on the lower end of the apron normally covers the end of the drawer but a slot 8 allows the drawer to be pushed open. The shell is formed from a rectangular blank with the apron forming an extension to one panel.
