Abstract

395,501. Cartons. MOLINS, W. E., 2, Evelyn Street, Deptford, London. June 10, 1932, Nos. 16494 and 20187. [Class 18.] In a drawer-andshell carton wherein the shell has one end closed, the end of the drawer at the open end of the shell is formed with one or more short lateral projections which are substantially flush with the longitudinal panels of the shell and form a finger hold by which the drawer may be pulled out of the shell. As shown, the projections 7 are formed by slitting the drawer blank adjacent the score lines 6 defining the end 14 of the drawer, but the projections may be arranged at the narrow longitudinal panels of the shell ; additional projections, of approximately the same height as the projections 7, may also be formed at the corners of the end of the drawer to prevent it moving below the level of the shell. The edges of the projections 7 may be formed by a series of curved slits and the slide may be provided with side flaps.
