478,367. Sockets for posts. ROCK, J. R. - July 21, 1936, No. 20138. [Class 45] [Also in Group XIV] A clothes-line post 1 takes in a socket 3 of steel or wroughtiron tube provided at its lower end with anchoring projections or lugs 5 formed by bending outwards parts of the tube. The socket is slit to form the turned-out lugs and is embedded in concrete 11 with its top flush with the ground. A cap may be provided to close the mouth of the socket.
