[Class 37] [Also in Group XL] The temperature coefficient of a condenser for use in an oscillation generator is rendered adjustable by forming the dielectric as two halfdiscs, one of which has a negative and the other a positive temperature coefficient, the dielectric constants of the two halves being the same. Rotation of the disc so that different parts lie between the condenser plates does not vary the capacity, but enables any suitable value of positive or negative temperature coefficient to be chosen. Suitable ceramic materials for the disc are indicated in the Specification.
