[Class 64 (iii)] The finned-tubes of the heat-exchanger described in the parent Specification are provided with extensions 10a, 10b so as to form continuous sinuous passages for the gases flowing over the tubes. The depth of the corrugations of the extensions is preferably between one-sixth and one-tenth of the width of the fins.
