[Class 39 (iii)] An electric heater comprises sheathed elements 10 each having its ends adjacent each other, and a single substantially homogeneous mass 18 of electrically insulating and sealing material is provided in which the ends of the sheaths, the terminals 15, and the ends of the connector members 21 are embedded. The ends of the heating elements are thus insulated from each other and the connector members are kept in position. The unit may embody a metal supporting plate 11. The mass 18 may be formed of a phenol condensation product. Specifications 144,767, [Class 37], and 345,563 are referred to.
