Abstract

471,230. Closures for collapsable tubes &c. WOLTER, K. Nov. 10, 1936, No. 30660. Convention date, Nov. 12, 1935. [Class 125 (iii)] A screw-cap 5 for a collapsable tube &c. engages a deformable collar 9 on the neck of the tube when it is first screwed home. The collar is distorted as shown in the Figure and thereafter the entire removal of the cap is prevented. A recess 10 accommodates the distorted collar, and is provided with a wedge shaped upper end. Fluid is extruded through orifices 4 when the cap is off its seating.
