469,883. Rotary-piston engines and pumps. DREHKOLBEN - KRAFTMASCHINEN GES. Jan. 2,1936, No. 206. Convention date, Sept. 2, 1935. [Class 7 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] A revolving piston pump, internal - combustion engine &c., comprises rectangular pistons reciprocating in working chambers formed between triangular prisms 7 supported in end-plates 6. Each piston is connected bv at least two links 13 to a stationary crank-pin 9 attached to a shaft, one end, 10 of which is fixed in the frame, and the other end journalled in the revolving shaft 12. The pistons are formed with lugs supporting pins 16, or with cylindrically bored lugs receiving the rounded ends of the links 13. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, air compressed by some of the pistons is discharged into a chamber into which fuel is injected ; the products of combustion pass through an opening in a partition and from the other part of the chamber expand against the pistons in the remaining chambers. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
