[Class 96] [Also in Group XV] Safety revenue, postage, &c. stamps consist of paper, one surface of which is coated with an adhesive, the other having a finish containing a water soluble chemical and having printed thereon a design in an ink containing another water soluble chemical capable of reacting with the first to produce a smudge if the stamp is soaked in water. The chemicals mav be lead nitrate and sodium sulphide.
