Abstract

466,188. Cathode-ray tubes. RADIOAKT.-GES. D. S. LOEWE. Nov. 15, 1935, No. 6604/37. Convention date, Nov. 20, 1934. Divided application. Addition to 453,270. [Class 39 (i)] Two cylindrical electrodes 6, 71 of the preliminary concentrator of the parent Specification are positioned by fitting them tightly in, or forming them as coatings on, an insulating tube 10. The tube 10, the outer diameter of which may be much larger than that of the electrodes 6, 7<1>, is of porcelain, glass &c. coated inside and outside as shown with silver or graphite. The electrode 6 is connected in circuit by a flange 11 and supporting collar 12, and the electrode 7<1> contacts with the diaphragm electrode 7. The tube 10 engages recesses or apertures in discs 13, 15 on glasss rods 14, and may be provided at least on its inner side with a graphite or other conducting layer in addition to the electrodes. The electrode 5 is a preliminary anode. Specification 425,234 is referred to.
