466,017. Calculating - apparatus. McGEORGE, E. G. Oct. 15, 1935, No. 28480. [Class 106 (i)] Local-time calculators.-A device for ascertaining local standard time, the day of the week or year at different places, and the local sidereal time comprises four concentric circular dials the two intermediate dials being independently rotatable. The outermost dial A has a scale representing hours and five minute intervals. The outer rotatable scale B is used to indicate the standard time zones and is divided into hours and minutes each way from an arrow marked G.M.T. The inner edge of the dial is graduated to represent the months and days of the year. The inner rotatable dial C is formed with a date arrow co-operating with the year scale and with a scale inscribed with longitude marks, but arranged to give the correction between mean and sidereal time. The innermost stationary dial D is divided into twentyfour equal divisions representing sidereal time.
