464,450. Cupboard turn fastenings. DUNTON, G. R., and LEGGE & CO., Ltd., J. Nov. 28, 1935, No. 32979. [Class 44] A cupboard turn fastening comprises a flat circular attachment plate A, and a cover-plate E stamped up to provide a central circular portion e<1> merging into a quadrantal peripheral portion e<2> spaced from plate A to accommodate the movable catch member D. The catch member comprises a circular portion d accommodated in portion e' of the cover-plate, and tongue d<1> projecting through and movable along the arcuate slot provided by portion e<2> of the cover. The portion d is stamped up to provide a circular portion d<2> bearing in an aperture e<3> provided in the cover-plate and has a central non-circular aperture to receive the non- circular operating spindle B which extends freely through a circular aperture in plate A. The flat peripheral portion e of the cover-plate bears against, and is peripherally flanged to embrace the edge of, plate A. The device is secured by attachment screws c, plates A, E being held together by the burred edges of the screw apertures in plate E being passed through the registering screw-apertures in plate A and riveted over.
