459,915. Valves. CONSTRUCTIONS D'APPAREILS A GAZ SOC. ANON., 109, Route de Lyon, Geneva, Switzerland. May 11, 1936, No. 13291. Convention date, May 13, 1935. [Class 135] In a valve having a conical closure member 6 actuated by the rotation of a rod 12 with a threaded portion 15 screwing into part of the valve casing and a further threaded portion 14 of smaller pitch screwing into the closure member, rotation of the latter is prevented by a metallic sealing bellows 10. This bellows is soldered to the head 11 of the closure member and to a ring 9 clamped between two parts of the valve casing. The hand-operated valve shown in the Figure may be used as the delivery valve on a high pressure gas receptacle. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the pressure regulator shown in Figs. 2 (Cancelled) and 3 (Cancelled). The differentially threaded rod 12, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), screws into the valve member 6 and has a toothed portion 21 engaged on opposite sides by toothed bars 18 secured to expanding capsules 16 mounted on arms 17 on the valve casing and subject to the pressure in the valve chamber 8 by means of conduits 19, 20. Means may be provided for momentarily disengaging the bars 18 from the portion 21, for instance, in filling a receptacle integral with the valve. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
