[Class 132 (i)] An invalid walker comprises U-shaped tubular frame members 1 and 10, open at the rear, tubes 11, 12 rigid with frame 10 telescoping into tubes 6, 7 secured to the frame 1 and being adjustably secured therein by nuts 9, Fig. 4, to vary the height of the upper frame 10. The free ends of frames 1, 10 are downturned, at 13 to form handles and at 3 to mount rear castors 5, the forward castors 5 being carried on depending sections 4 of frame 1. A seat 25, Fig. 4, is pivoted at 22 on arms 21 and may be swung from the vertical to rest on other arms 21, the arms 21 extending from plates 19 secured by pins 27 which may be detachably secured in any of the key-hole slots 28 in sections 29 secured to tubes 7 to vary the height of the seat. A back rest is formed by rods detachably and rotatably mounted in the top of tubes 12, extending laterally at 16, Fig. 1, and then upwardly at 17 with a flexible strip 18 secured about the uprights 17. A limb support comprises a clamp 30 adjustable along the cross-bar 10<1> of the upper frame 10 from which depends a cushioned limb supporting plate 36 adjusted vertically by rotating a head 35 rigid with a pinion 34 engaging a rack bar 33. A foot rest comprises a frame adjustable along and resting across the side members of frame 1. A tray 42, Fig. 6, rests across and is adjustable along the side members of the upper frame 10 to which it may be locked by sliding members 45.
