Abstract
457,084. Separating warp threads. KOEFOED, HAUBERG, MARSTRAND & HELWEG AKTIESELSKABET TITAN, 86, Tagensvej, Copenhagen. April 21, 1936, No. 11345. Convention date, April 27, 1935. [Classes 142 (ii) and 142 (iv)] The threads are leased by one or more rods b, c, Fig. 1, leased by one or more rods b, c, Fig. 1, through which pairs of lease cords 8, 9 pass. The lease rods are journalled in bearings r, s, on a plate a, which is moved back and forth, the rods b, c being oscillated about their axes so as to be about 90‹ out of phase, stops e, f thereon liberating the threads 2, 3, 4, in succession from the remaining threads for transfer to a warp-tying machine &c. The rods b, c may be curved so as to tension the threads, and have pointed wedge shaped ends d furnished with holes for the lease cords. In a modification, the rods have slits q, Figs. 3 and 4, for receiving the cords and a separating wall p therefor. One of the rods b, c may be replaced by one or more lease cords. Groups, instead of single threads, may be separated.
