Abstract

455,842. Two - part couplings. GULLIFORD, A. G., Lyndhurst, Doncaster Road, Conisborough, near Rotherham. March 3, 1936, No. 6355. [Class 38 (i)] In electric incandescent lamp bulbs of the kind provided with a fuse within the cap for use in miners' lamps, a base A of insulating material embedded in plaster G, or the like, within a metal cap B has fitted therein a metal tube, screw, or socket C connected to one leading-in wire f<1> and adapted to receive or engage one end cap of a cartridge fuse H, which is also embedded in plaster, the other end cap K of the fuse forming one of the contacts of the lamp bulb. The lamp cap may be of either the bayonet-joint or screw-threaded type.
