453,895. Cow - milkers. STUART TURNER, Ltd., and PLINT, A. F., 43, Market Place, Henley-on-Thames. March 22, 1935, No. 9071. [Class 84] Milking-apparatus in which the milk is delivered to a vessel 20 by suction from the teat cups 15 comprises a suction pump 21 and a primary pulsator A combined with a series of secondary pulsators B all pneumatically operated, direct connections being provided from the teat cups 15 to the milk vessel 20 and from the milk vessel 20 to the pump 21 independent of the conduits 3, 4 transmitting the suction for actuating the primary and secondary pulsators. As shown, the primary pulsator A is constructed as described in Specification 324,140, [Class 84], with a distributing valve 6 which alternately connects two conduits 5, 15 with the suction conduit 3 and with the atmosphere, space 24 therein being open to atmosphere through a hole 25. The pulsations are transmitted through conduits 5, 14 to the secondary pulsators B oscillating a pair of diaphragms 7, 9 therein which operate a valve 12 which connects two pipes 11, each of which is connected to the inflations of two teat cups, alternately to the suction pipe 4 and to the atmosphere through space 26 in the pulsator and hole 27. The space between diaphragms 7, 9 is connected to suction through pipe 10.
