[Class 83 (i)] Moulding processes. -A flask, for casting a bath 11 with its flange or roll 4, has its sections 1, 2, pivoted at 13 and the wall 8 of the upper section steeply inclined at 7 to form a parting surface, below the roll 4, that will readily separate. The parting face at 5 may be formed by a metal plate.
