445,351. Fluid - actuated valves. KAWASAKIYA, T., 23, 4-chome, Shirakabecho, Higashiku, Nagoya, Japan. Oct. 5, 1934, No. 28593. [Class 135] Valves controlled by pilot or relay valves.- A pair of three-way piston valves are arranged side by side in a single casing and are adapted to be actuated by fluid pressure acting on pistons 9 under the control of single beat lift auxiliary valves 7 interconnected by a see - saw lever 25. Pressure from the pressure inlet chamber 21 which is common to both main valves is led to the two actuating chambers 14 through axial passages in the main valves adjusted by screw operated needles 11. The auxiliary valves 7 control communication between the actuating chambers and chambers 15 connected by passages with the main exhaust chamber 22 and are normally held in the raised position in contact with the cover by the escape of fluid through the control passage. In the form shown, the control valves are alternately moved to their closed position by spindles 12 carried by armatures 24 suspended from the see-saw lever 25 and operated by a pair of solenoids 23. The spindles 12 may be operated by means controlled by variations of pressure, electric current, speed or temperature.
