[Class 114] An adjustable non-metallic air-screw blade 2 is provided at its root 1 with a sprayed on metal coating 3 and also with a coating 4 at the base. The root may be provided with indentations 5, 6 and 7 into which metal is sprayed and forms an anchorage for the outer sheath. The indentations may take the form of radial wedges or keys, or be constituted by holes.
