437,514. Folding boxes. TIBBLE, L. R., and LEWIS, HENRY, & TIBBLE, Ltd., 85, Arlington Street, Islington, London. July 11, 1935, No. 19871. Addition to 369,870. [Class 18] The means to prevent unintentional collapsing of the box during filling, provided in the parent Specification, are modified in that wings 11, integral with the side walls 2 and rigidly connected to the front wall 3 are capable of being folded against the wall 3 to prevent the same from folding about its creases 13. When the box is to be collapsed the wings 11 are folded against the side walls 2 where they do not prevent the box from being collapsed. The wings 11 may be fitted with a string 16 passing through the front wall 3 to a further string may be fixed to the back 4 at 20 to aid erection. Where the height of the side walls is greater than a half the width of the base they may be slotted and the wings 11 may be cut away to prevent the fouling of each other in the folding operation.
