[Class 100 (ii)] A sheet-fed two-colour rotary machine is constructed with one impression cylinder b co-operating with two plate cylinders a, a<1> of equal diameter, which may be arranged either for direct lithographic or for intaglio printing, or both, and the first plate cylinder a, together with its inking and damping or scraping apparatus, lies above the horizontal plane through the centre of the impression cylinder b, and within the space bounded by the vertical planes x, y, respectively through the edge f of the delivery pile, and the crown point h of the plate cylinder a facing the feed table. A feed cylinder i is arranged between the table g and the cylinder b ; in another arrangement the cylinder b takes the sheets direct from the table g and the path of the delivery chains is modified accordingly.
