433,384. Goggles. BRITISH A.O. CO., Ltd., 39, Hatton Garden, London.-(American Optical Co. ; Southbridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.) Feb. 14, 1934, No. 4954. [Class 97 (i)] An eye protector comprises a pair of separate and rigid eye cups 1 connected by a bridge 3 and shaped to conform to the contour of the orbital rim of the eye, each cup having a seat for a lens 2 which is inclined to the normal line of vision 9, and the inner walls of the cups being provided with angled portions 6 to increase the field of vision. The inner edges of the eye cups are provided with projections 17 that fit into the cavity between the eye and the nose. The lenses are inclined to the vertical.
