Abstract
432,860. Powder distributers. CODRON, I. A., 15, Finsbury Court, Finsbury Pavement, London. March 27, 1935, No. 9550. [Class 18] [See also Group VII] A tailor's marking device of the kind having a toothed wheel projecting from one edge of a powder container and which, when rolled along a surface, marks a line thereon by means of powder extracted from the container, is provided in the container with agitating means for the powder operated by the toothed wheel. The toothed wheel 4 is mounted in blocks 9<1> in the forked end of a U-shaped member 8, which is slid downwardly into grooves on the inside of a container 1 until the wheel projects, as shown, from the slot 3. The agitating means comprises a resilient tongue 9, having arms 10 and which is secured at one end to the bridge of the U-shaped member 8, its free end engaging the teeth of the wheel 4. The container carries a bluntedged fin 11 for scoring purposes, and is provided with a lid 5 to which is loosely attached a resilient packing member 6, fitting tightly into the mouth of the container to prevent loss of powder.
