[Class 79 (iv)] In a chassis frame construction wherein members 2, carried by transverse members 3, 4, constitute a forked extension to a central longitudinal member 1, at least one of the transverse members is extended beyond the fork members 2, as shown at 4<a>, to carry the vehicle body. The transverse members may comprise T-shaped stampings with openings for the members 1, 2. The members 1, 2 may be of tubular or other formation and need not be in parallelism.
