427,163. Building - blocks. TEGELBRUKS, AKTIEBOLAGET WALLA-KATRINEHOLM, Katrineholm, Sweden. Oct. 24, 1934, No. 30509. Convention date, Oct. 25, 1933. [Class 87 (i)] Building - blocks for walls one - brick thick are provided with a number of rows of narrow vertical through slots extending longitudinally and each of a width not exceeding 4 per cent of the width of the block, the total area of the slots not exceeding 20 per cent of that of the brick, and the total length of the slots being at least twice the length of the block. Heat insulation is thus effected without reduction of strength.
