Ventilators for buildings consist of bricks which have a recess d with one or more inclined portions k either formed integrally with the brick, as in Fig. 4, or consisting of detachable plates n, as in Fig. 9, and rows of perforations i, j are formed in the outer face. The brick is of clay, earthenware or metal.
