Abstract

426,623. Warping-creels. MASCHINENFABRIK RUTI VORM. C. HONEGGER, Ruti, Zurich, Switzerland. Dec. 20, 1934, No. 36519. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1933. [Class 142 (iv)] The threads are braked between flat fishshaped pieces 19, 20 of glass mounted loosely on pins 18 on brake carriers 1 provided also with eyes 16, 17 for the threads. By turning the carriers 1, the pressure due to gravity between the pieces 19, 20 is varied. The carriers are connected by link and lever devices so that they may be turned simultaneously by a hand wheel 11 to regulate the tension. The bobbins are mounted pivotally in the creel so that their axes may be turned towards the centres of the braking devices.
