[Classes 18 and 94 (i)] Cylindrical portions of ice-crearn 10, for example as described in Specification 411,788, are assemblec side by side in a plurality o: layers with spacing sheets 20 between the layers, anc the assembly is ther covered by a casing formed around it as shown in Fig. 3, from a blank shaped as in Fig. 1. Tabs 24 are arranged partly above and partly below a lid 21 and the package is sealed by adhesive strips 22, 23. Sealing strips such as 25 overlapping the sides and top or bottom may also be used. In a modification the package is octagonal. Specification 424,851 also is referred to.
