[Class 132 (iii)] In a scale model building construction set, wherein the various components are secured together by bonding rods, the roof is formed of tiles T, Fig. 9, of wedge shaped section, the thin upper edge U of one tile engaging in a groove G in the thick lower edge V of an adj acent tile, so that all the roof tiles may be bonded together, and the roof is secured to the side walls S of a building by the bonding rods passing into holes formed in angle bricks F, Fig. 8, rigid with the tiles of the lowest row. Buildings are erected on one or more perforated baseboards B, Fig. 2, bonded together by the bricks C and rods D, further baseboards being used as shown in Fig. 3, to form upper floors. The edges of the boards B simulate brick courses, and the bricks, which may be of various shapes and sizes, are formed of wood or plastic material coloured on both sides so that either side may be employed for the outside. Windows and doors are formed of four moulded elements W, Fig. 3, the upper and lower of which receive bonding rods D, the two vertical elements being held by a sheet E, representing a window pane or door panel, housed in grooves in the elements. Chimneys, Fig. 15, and dormer windows, Fig. 16, skylights, &c., are formed integral with the tiles which may be of unit or multiple size, and painted to simulate a plurality of tiles. Fencing, gates, hedging, trees, &c., may be secured by dowels in the baseboards and rainpipes, gutters, finials, gargoyles, buttresses &c., may be also secured by dowels to a building or baseboard.
