Abstract
421,509. Transferring liquefied gases. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP MACHINERIEEN-EN APPARATEN FABRIEKEN, 30, Croeselaan, Utrecht, Holland. March 16, 1934, No. 8355. Convention date, March 28, 1933. [Class 102 (ii)] In transferring liquefied combustible gas, such as propane, from transport bottles a to a container e, a pump k is employed which withdraws gas from the container e and compresses it into a container o, with or without passage through a cooler t. For transferring the liquefied gas from the container e to anothei container the connections are reversed by means of cocks h, i, l, m, so that gas is withdrawn from the container o and compressed into the container e. In a modification two containers such as e and o are employed, which are connected also at their lower ends, so that liquid can be transferred from one container to the other by creating a vacuum in one container and pressure in the other container.
