[Class 144 (i)] The rim 1 of a pneumatic-tyred wheel is fitted with a radial flange 2 which is resilientlysuspended between the side-flanges 4, 5 of the wheel-body by means of axially-compressed cushioning-elements comprising rubber discs or rings 9 spaced by metal or other non-resilient discs &c. 14. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the inner portion 10 of the flange 2 is guided between the faces of the wheel-flanges.
