Abstract

421,031. Warping yarns. REINERS, W., 214, Bahnstrasse, Gladbach, Munich, Germany. April 25, 1934, No. 12493. Convention date, May 22, 1933. [Class 142 (iv)] A thread guiding and tensioning device for a yarn warping frame comprises a bracket 3 with a weighted brake disc 11 bearing on the top surface 12 thereof and a thread guide eye 9 having a lateral opening normally closed by a barrier which can be moved for the insertion of the thread into the eye. As shown the barrier consists of a yoke 7 pivoted to the upper part of the bracket and normally engaging over the nose 5 at the side of the opening into the eye and one limb of the yoke has a groove 10 along which the thread passes on its way to the disc 11. In modifications the barrier takes the form of a spring plate or springy wire yoke.
