Abstract
420,710. Spectacles. WILLESDEN OPTICAL WORKS, Ltd., Dudden Hill Lane, and WILLIS, E. F., 69, Caimneld Avenue, Cricklewood, both in London. Sept. 27, 1933, No. 26610. [Class 97 (i)] In a spectacle frame having a bridge of shell &c., the nose pads are secured to the ends of a piece of wire passing through the bridge and serving to reinforce it. In the form shown the bridge is made integrally with the rims and a piece of wire 3 is passed through the bridge so as to project at each side. The ends of the wire are bent as shown and a nose pad 7 is attached to each end by an eye 8. When applied to pince-nez eyeglasses the wire is of a springy nature and levers may be provided for manual separation of the pads.
