428,761. Spectacles. KANE, J., 14, Franklin Street, Rochester, New York, U.S.A. Dec. 28, 1934, No. 37193. [Class 97 (i)] The metallic lens rims 1, provided with nose pads 5, are rigidly connected by a metallic bridge which is separate from the nose pads, out of contact with the wearer's nose and brows and consists of an upper element 6 tangentially secured to the tops of the rims and a lower element 7. The element 7 is preferably arched and both elements are bowed forwardly. The elements are preferably offset in the front and rear direction.
